台湾の南東海上にある小さな島、蘭嶼（らんゆい）。島人たちは森で木を伐り、美しい釣り船をつくる。捕まえるのはトビウオ。 Ponso no Tao, also known as Orchid Island, is a small island southeast of Taiwan. The islanders cut down a huge tree and make it into a beautiful fishing boat. They catch flying fish which is at the center of their annual life cycle.
