映画館の看板に自分の名前が表示されたのは最初で最後でした。朗読劇『銀河鉄道の夜』を追ったドキュメンタリー映画『ほんとうのうた』（河合宏樹監督）の上映、ケンタッキー州レキシントンの老舗映画館ケンタッキー・シアター（1922年開場）にて。ぼくは舞台挨拶をした。
This is the first and only appearance so far of my name on the marquee of an American movie theater! In 2015, we screened the documentary film “True Song” (dir. Kawai Hiroki) that follows the travel of our reading play “Night on the Milky Way Train.” The theater is the historical Kentucky Theater in Lexington that opened in 1922.
