映画『あたらしい野生の地 リワイルディング』の舞台となったオランダの干拓地、オーストファールデルスプラッセン。野生馬コニックと接近遭遇です。 Rewilding is taking place strongly in Holland. This is Oostvaardersplassen, the wetland where the film The New Wilderness was shot. A close encounter with a wild horse on a summer afternoon.
思い切りアメリカンなダイナー。気に入って毎日行きました。 A surprisingly American diner in Lahti. I loved the place so much that I ate there every day of my sojourn.
これがカレリアン・ベアー・ドッグ！ フィンランドまで来た甲斐がありました。 This is the Karelian Bear Dog... sort of like the Akita of Finland. This unexpected encounter really made my day!
アメリカ西部だとジャッカロープという合成動物がいますが、フィンランドのイングリッシュ・エールはごらんのとおり。 You may recall that in the American West there is the jackalope. In Finland, English ale is represented by this hybrid animal.
