水俣の海を50数年ぶりに見た。プランクトンゆたかな、深い緑色は変わらない。海は何も語らないが、忘れてはいけない歴史がある。 Went to see the sea of Minamata for the first time in more than fifty years! The beautiful green water rich in plankton remains the same. But there is a history that should not be forgotten.

ずいぶん長いあいだ海から遠ざかってしまった。今年はこんな海へ。 I’ve been away from the sea for some time. Time to go back to one of those island waters.

こんなすっきりした海をずいぶん見てない。カウアイ島。 Been away from such a fresh view of the sea for a long time. Now I realize how much I miss Kauai.
