掌の美術論
第１回 緒言
この連載のタイトルには二つの意図が込められている。その一つは、各々の記事を、掌編小説のように手軽に読める、短く完結した美術論として書いてみよう、というものだ。じっくり時間をかけて火にかけている煮込み料理がくつくつと音を立てているのを聞きながら、山の中腹のバス停でバスが来るのを待ちながら、あるいは出勤電車の中で、ふと気づいたときにタブレットや携帯を取り出し読むことができる、そのような文章を書いてみたいと思った。……

リトアニアの思い出というとこの人にむすびつく。ジョナス・メカス視覚芸術センター。メカスさんに対する吉増剛造さんの友情と尊敬にあふれた映画『Vertigo』（井上春生監督）は12月公開。必見です。 My memories of Lithuania is always related to the name of Jonas Mekas. Director Inoue Haruo’s superb documentary VERTIGO shows the great Yoshimasu Gozo’s respect toward Mekas and the friendship between the two. Don’t miss it in December!
